Triber has been the silver lining for Renault this year and is showing a steady performance since launch. The model is gaining volumes with every passing month and is an extremely positive sign for the French Automaker. Triber contributed to 56% of Renault India’s volumes in Nov’19 and is a clear depiction of how important the model has been for the OEM. MUV segment has seen rather interesting concepts in the recent times with the launch of Marazzo, New Ertiga, Triber & then XL6, Due to the new launches/refreshes the segment has grown a healthy 15% YoY and is a testimony to the potential the segment has to offer. Even Kia shall be entering the segment with Carnival which shall be pitted directly against Innova (which virtually has no competition right now). The segment has already heated up and will be interesting to see how things stack up in future.
