MUV segment recorded a flat growth in November 2020

MUV Segment foresees stagnation and could grew only 3% YoY in Nov’20. No new launches in the segment may have led to the trend.

1. Ertiga + XL6 sold a 12,945 units and contributed to over 48% of the segment’s volumes! Do note that the model is also planned to be rebadged and sold from Toyota showrooms too in near future!

2. Mahindra’s oldest workhorse Bolero still sells like hotcake. The model grew a phenomenal 18% YoY and was backed by strong rural demand.

3. Triber volumes is now tapering down and the model sales fell -21% YoY. Triber was the Renault’s most successful launch of 2019; and falling volumes is not a good sign.

4. Even the facelift Innova couldn’t bring a spurt in the volumes. Rather the model recorded a drop of -36% YoY.
