Honda Cars India volumes more than double in January 2021 v/s January 2020!

Honda Cars India sold 11,319 cars in Jan’21 and registered a YoY growth of 114%. It was backed with strong volumes from Amaze and City.
Honda Cars volume shot up over 2.1 times in January 2021 when compared to the same period last year. The Japanese OEM has been able to pull up volumes from all the models in its portfolio.
Amaze contributed to more than 48% of Honda India’s volumes and sold 5.4k units in Jan’21. The model recorded a 73% YoY increase.
City again proved to be a volume driver and the updated model is a success! The volumes jumped 112% YoY and over 3.6k City’s were dispatched in Jan’21.
Both WRV & Jazz have been able to fare well in Jan’21. The supply seems to have improved and the volumes have increased accordingly.
