Honda City retains the throne as the Best Selling Executive Sedan in December 2020!

Honda City sales were up by a mammoth 171% YoY in Dec’20 and the model sold over 2.7k units last month!

1. The New Honda City again took the crown as India’s No.1 Executive Sedan for December 2020 with sales of 2,717units. Nexa Ciaz managed to come 2nd with dispatches of 1,270 units.

2. The 5th Generation Honda City has been accepted well and the model is leaving no room for competition to rise to the top spot. The model now commands over 41% Market Share in the segment!

3. Maruti’s Ciaz overtook the New Verna comfortably in Dec’20. Hyundai’s Verna could sneak in only 1,036 dispatches in Dec’20.

4. Toyota has been putting a lot of focus to enhance Yaris volumes and could record Wholesale of 226 units. The model anyhow grew 197% YoY. Only City & Yaris could post a YoY sales increase in Dec’20.
