Renault Offering 3-Month EMI Holiday

To regain momentum, Renault is trying out the 3-month EMI holiday option. This option is available only if you opt for a loan with Renault Finance. The loan amount is capped at Rs. 4.5 lakh for Triber and Kwid buyers. The limit is Rs. 7.5 lakh for Duster buyers. You can avail this offer if the loan tenure is 36 months.

It doesn’t mean a saving of 3 EMIs for the buyers. It’s just a deferred payment schedule, which starts 3 months after the purchase allowing buyers some time to regain financial stability. Considering that Renault if offering loans at 8.99% interest rate, a 3-month delay costs Renault interest for that period. It totals to about Rs. 10,000 with the Rs. 4.5 lakh cap and Rs. 17,000 in case of the Rs. 7.5 lakh loan limit.

Rumour – Next-Gen Ford Endeavour To Get Twin Turbo 2.0-litre Diesel Engine

Next-Gen 2022 Ford Endeavour Testing

Next-Gen 2022 Ford Endeavour Camouflaged

The next-gen Ford Endeavour is expected to get a twin-turbo version of the 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine. With the single turbo engine currently in use, it makes 170PS of power and 420Nm of torque. With a twin-turbo, it could deliver 213PS of power and it’s likely to make its debut with the next-gen model. For now, the current-gen model will retain the single turbo engine but the updated 2022 model could bring it to our shores.

Other than the Endeavour, Ford is also reportedly working on a couple of other SUVs for India. One of them is a mid-size SUV, which is based on the next-gen 2020 Mahindra XUV500. The other is a version of next-gen EcoSport which will use Mahindra’s 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine.
