Kia India Sales – April 2026

Kia India reported total domestic sales of 27,286 units in April 2026, registering a healthy 16% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to 23,623 units sold in April 2025. However, on a month-on-month (MoM) basis, the company witnessed a 6% decline from 29,112 units dispatched in March 2026.
The biggest contributor to Kia’s April 2026 performance was once again the Kia Seltos. The SUV posted sales of 10,566 units, recording an impressive 72% YoY growth over April 2025.
Sonet remained Kia’s second-best-selling model with 10,537 units sold in April 2026. The compact SUV grew 31% YoY, underlining continued demand in the sub-4m SUV category.
Carens posted sales of 5,465 units, showing a modest 4% YoY increase. On a monthly basis, sales dipped 8%, indicating relatively stable but softer demand in the MPV space.
The newly introduced Kia Syros recorded 554 units in April 2026. Since the model had much higher early dispatch numbers during its launch phase, it showed a steep 86% YoY decline. However, on a MoM basis, sales surged 839% from just 59 units in March 2026.
The premium Kia Carnival registered 164 units in April 2026, posting 2% YoY growth and a significant 145% MoM jump.
