Kia Sales July 2026 – Seltos Sales Double YoY, Total Dispatches Rise 27% to 28,200 Units

Kia India recorded a strong performance in July 2026, with total domestic dispatches reaching 28,200 units, compared with 22,135 units in July 2025. This translated into a healthy 27% year-on-year growth.

The company also improved significantly on a sequential basis. Compared with 24,552 units dispatched in June 2026, Kia's July volumes increased by around 15% month-on-month. The biggest contributor to Kia's growth during the month was the Seltos, which more than doubled its volumes compared with the same period last year.

• Kia Seltos emerged as the brand's best-selling model in July 2026, registering dispatches of 12,541 units. This was a massive 109% increase over the 6,010 units recorded in July 2025. On a month-on-month basis too, the midsize SUV posted impressive growth of 30%, improving from 9,654 units in June 2026.

• The Seltos alone accounted for roughly 44% of Kia India's total July dispatches, underlining its importance to the Korean manufacturer's domestic portfolio.

• The Kia Sonet continued to be another major volume driver, with 8,913 units dispatched during July 2026. Compared with the 7,627 units recorded in July 2025, Sonet sales increased by 17% year-on-year.

• Together, the Seltos and Sonet contributed more than 21,000 units, accounting for around three-fourths of Kia's July 2026 volumes.

• Kia Carens registered 5,352 units in July 2026, down significantly from 7,602 units during the same month last year. This resulted in a 30% year-on-year decline, making Carens the only major Kia model to record lower volumes on an annual basis.

• The Kia Syros continued to strengthen its position within the company's portfolio, registering 1,303 units during July. Sales increased by a substantial 56% year-on-year from 834 units in July 2025. The compact SUV performed even better sequentially, recording a 65% month-on-month increase over the 790 units dispatched in June 2026.

• The premium Kia Carnival recorded relatively modest absolute volumes but delivered impressive percentage growth. Kia dispatched 91 units of the Carnival in July 2026, compared with 62 units in July 2025, resulting in 47% YoY growth.

Kia India dispatched 28,200 units in July 2026, up 27% YoY, with the Seltos leading the portfolio at 12,541 units.

July 2026 turned out to be a particularly strong month for Kia India, with the company's 27% year-on-year growth being led overwhelmingly by the Seltos.

The midsize SUV effectively doubled its year-ago volumes and added more than 6,500 incremental units by itself, more than offsetting the decline recorded by the Carens.

Sonet also maintained its position as a dependable volume pillar, while the rapid sequential improvement in Syros added another positive dimension to Kia's performance.

With 28,200 units dispatched during the month, Kia entered the second half of 2026 with strong momentum. Sustaining the elevated Seltos volumes while improving Carens demand will be important for maintaining this growth trajectory over the coming months.
