Lexus Kochi Delivers 20 Cars at Kerala ES 350h Introduction!
Lexus Kochi has reportedly handed over 20 vehicles at a single event, held alongside the Kerala introduction of the ES 350h hybrid sedan. The delivery programme at Grand Hyatt, Kochi, covered multiple models across the brand’s sedan, SUV and luxury MPV portfolio. The development marks a regional introduction and customer-delivery milestone. Lexus India had already announced bookings for the eighth-generation ES 350h on July 15, 2026.

Deliveries span the Lexus portfolio
The Nippon Group-owned Lexus Guest Experience Centre in Kochi organised the handover. The reported delivery mix included the ES 350h, ES 500e, NX 350h, RX 350h, RX 500h and LM 350h. The 20-car figure therefore covers several Lexus models.
ES 350h prices start at ₹66.10 lakh
The ES 350h was announced in India in two variants:
Variant | Announced ex-showroom price |
ES 350h Exquisite | ₹66.10 lakh |
ES 350h Luxury | ₹71.80 lakh |
The Luxury variant carries a ₹5.70 lakh premium over the Exquisite. Registration, insurance and other applicable charges are additional. Lexus positions the ES 350h as the self-charging hybrid member of its eighth-generation ES family. Its arrival follows the Indian launch of the all-electric ES 500e in March 2026, giving the sedan range both hybrid and battery-electric options.
The company’s India product information also highlights increased ground clearance developed specifically for Indian road conditions, a relevant consideration for buyers using a luxury sedan on varied roads.
What the Kerala delivery milestone tells us
From an Auto Punditz perspective, the breadth of vehicles involved is the most useful takeaway. The reported handovers span different body styles and powertrains, providing a snapshot of customer activity across the Lexus range.
However, a combined delivery ceremony represents a dealership milestone. It does not establish the number of fresh bookings received that day, the dealer’s monthly sales rate or Lexus’s national market share. Those conclusions require comparable retail or dispatch figures over a defined period.
The next measure to watch is the ES 350h’s contribution to sustained deliveries following its rollout. Monthly model-level data would help establish whether events such as the Kochi handover translate into a broader sales trend.
