Mercedes-Benz India has strengthened its retail presence in Uttar Pradesh with the inauguration of a new luxury sales facility in Lucknow in partnership with T&T Motors. The new dealership forms part of the brand’s ongoing “Go to Customer” strategy, aimed at bringing premium retail experiences, personalised consultations and EV-ready infrastructure closer to customers in emerging luxury markets.
With the latest addition, Mercedes-Benz now has 10 luxury touchpoints across Uttar Pradesh, spread across Lucknow, Noida, Ghaziabad, Agra, Kanpur and Varanasi. Nationally, the German luxury carmaker operates 150+ luxury touchpoints across more than 60 Indian cities, giving it one of the widest luxury automotive retail footprints in the country.

New Lucknow Showroom Spans Around 9,000 Sq. Ft.
The newly inaugurated T&T Motors facility spans approximately 9,000 sq. ft., with more than 5,000 sq. ft. of carpet area. It has been designed to offer customers a more immersive and personalised luxury vehicle purchase experience.
The showroom can display four Mercedes-Benz vehicles and also includes dedicated consultation spaces along with a personalised vehicle handover area.
Some of the key highlights of the dealership include:
Exclusive Top-End Vehicles Lounge
Four vehicle display bays
Dedicated handover bay with a Key Presenter
Private and semi-private customer consultation areas
Mercedes-Benz lifestyle boutique merchandise
Ample customer parking
Dedicated EV charging infrastructure
The facility is also equipped with a 180 kW DC fast charger featuring two charging bays, making it ready to cater to Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle customers in the city.
Lucknow Emerging as an Important Luxury Car Market
Mercedes-Benz has positioned the new dealership in a prominent upscale neighbourhood of Lucknow, citing high visibility, connectivity and the concentration of existing and potential luxury car buyers as key reasons behind the location choice.
The facility was completed within five months, highlighting the pace at which Mercedes-Benz is expanding its retail infrastructure beyond traditional luxury automobile hubs.
Mercedes-Benz India Vice President – Sales and Marketing, Brendon Sissing, highlighted that Uttar Pradesh remains an important emerging market for the company and that rising aspirations for luxury mobility in Lucknow offer strong growth potential. The company is focusing on modern infrastructure, digital capabilities, personalised consultations and EV readiness to strengthen its customer experience.
T&T Motors Deepens Mercedes-Benz Partnership
T&T Motors is one of Mercedes-Benz India’s long-standing retail partners and has around three decades of experience in the luxury automobile business.
Rohan Talwar, Managing Director of T&T Motors, said the Lucknow dealership would deepen the company’s partnership with Mercedes-Benz and help redefine the luxury ownership experience for customers and automotive enthusiasts in the region.
The newly established Lucknow operation is supported by a trained team of 88 professionals, underlining the scale of Mercedes-Benz’s investment in the market.
Mercedes-Benz Continues Expansion Beyond Major Metros
The Lucknow inauguration also signals Mercedes-Benz India’s growing focus on emerging luxury markets.
Rather than limiting expansion to metros such as Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru, Mercedes-Benz is increasingly building retail infrastructure in cities where affluent customer bases and premium vehicle demand are expanding.
The company says its strategy focuses on improving customer accessibility through modern luxury retail formats, EV-ready infrastructure and enhanced experiences throughout the ownership journey. Uttar Pradesh is identified as one of Mercedes-Benz India’s important emerging growth markets.
Mercedes-Benz India Network Crosses 150 Touchpoints
Mercedes-Benz India currently operates more than 150 luxury touchpoints across over 60 cities.
Its India portfolio spans locally produced sedans and SUVs, imported performance and luxury models, and a growing electric vehicle range. The company’s EV portfolio includes models such as the CLA BEV, EQS sedan and EQS SUV, while its broader luxury range extends from entry luxury vehicles to Maybach and AMG offerings.
The company has also continued to expand its customer-centric Retail of the Future model, under which approximately 80,000 new Mercedes-Benz vehicles have already been sold in India.
Auto Punditz Take
Mercedes-Benz’s Lucknow expansion reflects an important shift in India’s luxury automobile market.
Premium car demand is increasingly moving beyond the country’s traditional metro markets, prompting luxury manufacturers to build stronger sales, service and charging ecosystems in fast-growing Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities.
Lucknow is particularly significant because it combines a growing affluent customer base with rising demand for premium mobility. Mercedes-Benz’s decision to create a relatively large-format showroom with a Top-End Vehicles Lounge and a 180 kW fast charger indicates that the brand expects customers in such markets to increasingly consider not just mainstream luxury models but also high-end and electric vehicles.
With 10 touchpoints already established across Uttar Pradesh, Mercedes-Benz appears to be building the state into one of its key regional growth markets. The next phase of luxury-car growth in India could therefore increasingly be driven by cities such as Lucknow, Kanpur, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Kochi and other expanding premium consumption centres rather than metros alone.
