Mercedes-Benz India has further expanded its footprint in one of India’s fastest-emerging luxury car markets by inaugurating a state-of-the-art service facility in Margao, South Goa. This marks the brand’s first dedicated luxury service center in South Goa and its second facility in the state, reinforcing its customer-centric growth strategy.

South Goa Emerges as a Key Luxury Market
Margao, widely regarded as the commercial capital of Goa, now hosts a premium Mercedes-Benz service facility aimed at catering to the region’s growing base of luxury car buyers. With evolving customer aspirations and rising demand for premium mobility, South Goa has quickly become an important hub for luxury automakers.
The new facility, operated by Counto Motors, complements the existing 3S (Sales, Service, Spares) facility in Ribander, North Goa, ensuring improved accessibility and faster service turnaround for customers across the state.

The newly inaugurated service center is designed to deliver a world-class ownership experience, aligned with Mercedes-Benz’s global standards. Key highlights include:
4 service bays (2 main + 2 support bays) for efficient workflow
Quick Service Turnaround enabled by optimized workshop layout
Advanced diagnostic systems like XENTRY, Skyline, and Star Diagnostics
Digital Service Drive (DSD) for real-time updates and transparency
Dedicated service advisors for personalized interaction
Spread across a total built-up area of 8,598 sq. ft., the facility also includes a 4,307 sq. ft. covered showroom area, reinforcing a seamless blend of service and customer engagement.

Speaking on the expansion, Shekhar Bhide, Vice President – Customer Services, Mercedes-Benz India, said that Goa represents a fast-growing luxury market with rising customer expectations. He emphasized that the new facility will deliver a more refined, personalized, and convenient ownership experience, reflecting the brand’s core values of trust and excellence.
Aakash Khaunte, Director, Counto Motors, added that the Margao facility strengthens their presence in Goa while bringing premium services closer to customers in South Goa, in line with global Mercedes-Benz standards.
