Nissan India Sales Report – April 2026

Nissan Motor India reported total domestic sales of 3,203 units in April 2026, registering a significant 76% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to 1,825 units sold in April 2025. However, on a month-on-month (MoM) basis, sales declined sharply by 27% from 4,408 units recorded in March 2026.

The April performance highlights Nissan’s continued dependence on the Magnite compact SUV, while the newly introduced Gravite helped strengthen the company’s portfolio during the month.

• Nissan Magnite remained Nissan India’s highest-selling model with 1,775 units sold in April 2026. The compact SUV posted a marginal 1% YoY growth, indicating relatively stable demand in a highly competitive segment. However, on a monthly basis, Magnite sales declined 13% compared to March 2026. Despite the monthly dip, the Magnite contributed over 55% of Nissan’s total monthly sales.

• The newly introduced Nissan Gravite recorded 1,428 units in April 2026, emerging as Nissan’s second-largest contributor during the month. While there is no YoY comparison available due to the model being new, Gravite sales declined 40% MoM from March 2026 levels
