Nissan Modelwise Sales for March 2021 -
Magnite has definitely revived Nissan India's volumes and has helped Nissan clock >4k sales for the third month in succession. Demand for the Magnite is extremely encouraging and the waiting period has crossed 10 months in some cities. With demand back, the Nissan plant (RNAIPL) in Oragadam near Chennai is manufacturing cars in full swing. It has just rolled out the 10,000th unit of Magnite. The plant is now running 3 shifts to cater to the demand.
Magnite registered sales of 2,987 units in March 2021. The production now seems to have averaged at 3k units and is reflecting in the WS data.
Redi-Go emerged as the second best-selling Nissan model for February and 835 units were shipped to its dealers. It grew 501% YoY and fell -6% MoM.
Kicks recorded dismal figures yet again and sales fell -73% YoY. Even the cost-effective Turbo variant couldn't help the model revive its volumes.
30 unit Wholesales happened for the Nissan Go+. The model is nowhere comparable to its sibling (Triber) volumes.
