Nissan Announces Complimentary CNG Kits Worth Up to ₹85,999 on Magnite and Gravite – Limited Period Offer
Nissan Motor India has introduced a limited-period festive offer providing complimentary CNG retrofitment kits on select variants of the Nissan Magnite and Nissan Gravite. The initiative allows eligible customers to opt for CNG-powered mobility without paying the usual retrofitment cost, with benefits valued at up to ₹85,999.
The offer is valid until November 16, 2026, covering select naturally aspirated petrol variants of the two models. The government-approved CNG kits also carry a separate third-party warranty of three years or 1,00,000 km, whichever comes first.
Nissan Complimentary CNG Offer – November 2026
Model | Complimentary kit value | Eligible variants |
Nissan Magnite | ₹74,999 | Select non-turbo variants |
Nissan Gravite | ₹85,999 | Tekna variants |
Offer valid until November 16, 2026. Eligibility and availability are subject to dealership confirmation.
Nissan Magnite – Free CNG Kit Worth ₹74,999
The Nissan Magnite is being offered with a complimentary CNG retrofitment kit valued at ₹74,999. The promotion applies to selected variants powered by the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine.
The following Magnite variants are excluded from the scheme:
Visia MT
Visia EZ-Shift (AMT)
Visia+ MT
All turbo-petrol variants
The eligible non-turbo variants, starting with the Acenta MT, are priced between ₹6.87 lakh and ₹9.31 lakh (ex-showroom).
Customers who do not wish to opt for the CNG conversion can alternatively choose promotional benefits of up to ₹1 lakh, along with an assured gold coin, subject to eligibility.
The Magnite's naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 72 PS and 96 Nm in petrol mode. Nissan has not disclosed an official certified fuel-efficiency figure for the CNG version.
Nissan Gravite – Free CNG Kit Worth ₹85,999
The Nissan Gravite receives a higher-value complimentary CNG kit worth ₹85,999, available on eligible Tekna variants. Unlike the Magnite, the Gravite features a twin-cylinder CNG configuration with two 25-litre tanks. This arrangement is designed to preserve the practicality of its seven-seat cabin while providing additional fuel flexibility.
The Gravite CNG has a claimed fuel efficiency of 19.3 km/kg, and the eligible Tekna variants are priced between ₹8.08 lakh and ₹9.09 lakh (ex-showroom).
Customers who prefer not to opt for the complimentary kit can instead choose benefits of up to ₹55,000 along with an assured gold coin, subject to the applicable scheme conditions.
CNG Kit Warranty and Installation
Both models receive government-approved CNG retrofitment kits installed through the applicable authorised retrofitment network.
The kit is covered by a third-party warranty of three years or 1,00,000 km, whichever comes earlier, in addition to the standard vehicle product warranty. Since these are retrofitment systems rather than factory-integrated CNG powertrains, customers should confirm installation availability, warranty coverage, documentation and applicable vehicle registration requirements before purchase.
Auto Punditz Analysis
Nissan's decision to waive the retrofitment cost represents a different approach to festive discounts. Instead of relying entirely on cash benefits, the company is offering a feature that could deliver long-term running-cost savings.
For the Magnite, the ₹74,999 incentive improves its positioning among affordable compact SUVs, particularly against factory-CNG alternatives such as the Tata Punch and Hyundai Exter.
The Gravite's offer is especially relevant for families seeking an economical seven-seater. Its twin-cylinder arrangement addresses an important practical concern associated with conventional CNG installations: reduced luggage space.
However, the financial value of the complimentary kit depends on how frequently the customer uses CNG and the availability of filling stations. Buyers should also compare the free kit with Nissan's alternative cash and promotional benefits, which cannot automatically be assumed to be cumulative.
Overall, Nissan's festive strategy combines upfront purchase savings with potentially lower ownership costs, helping strengthen the appeal of both models during November 2026.
