Renault India posted a robust performance in March 2026, registering total sales of 5,046 units, marking a strong 77% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to 2,846 units in March 2025. However, on a month-on-month (MoM) basis, sales declined by 15%, indicating some cooling after February’s momentum.

The Triber continued to anchor Renault’s portfolio with 2,011 units sold, delivering a 30% YoY growth. Despite its strong annual growth, it saw a 17% MoM decline, suggesting normalization after a high February base.
The biggest highlight for March 2026 is the reintroduction of the Duster and 1,402 units dispatched last month. The Duster is now transitioning from launch hype to real market demand, which will be crucial in the coming months.
The entry-level Kwid saw 449 units dispatched, resulting in a 16% YoY decline compared to March 2025's 532 units.
With the return of the Duster, Renault is strategically re-entering a high-value SUV segment that once defined its success in India. If the Duster sustains its early momentum and the Kiger continues its growth trajectory, Renault could see significant portfolio strengthening in FY2026. Combined with steady Triber performance, the brand appears well-positioned for a more balanced and growth-driven year ahead.
