Auto Punditz Take

Renault’s overall 6% annual decline masks a larger contraction in its three models with year-ago comparisons. Combined dispatches of the Triber, Kiger and Kwid stood at 2,436 units, down 19% from 3,015 units in August 2025. The Duster’s contribution of 406 units narrowed the decline at the brand level.

The Triber continues to anchor Renault’s volumes, while the Kwid’s annual growth provided a partial offset to weaker Triber and Kiger dispatches. With all four models declining month-on-month, the next dispatch cycle will be important for assessing whether volumes recover across the range. Retail registrations would provide additional context on how these wholesale movements translate into customer deliveries.
