Skoda India Dispatches Grow 24% YoY in June 2026; Kylaq Drives Over 65% of Sales

Skoda India dispatched 6,220 units in June 2026, registering a strong 24% year-on-year growth compared to 5,014 units in June 2025. On a month-on-month basis, the brand also posted an 8% increase over 5,760 units sold in May 2026. The growth was primarily driven by the Skoda Kylaq, which continued to be the brand’s volume leader and contributed nearly two-thirds of Skoda’s total dispatches in June 2026.

• The Kylaq remained Skoda’s top-selling model in June 2026 with 4,039 units dispatched. It recorded a strong 26% year-on-year growth over 3,196 units in June 2025. Compared to May 2026, dispatches improved by 17%, rising from 3,443 units. The Kylaq alone accounted for around 65% of Skoda India’s total dispatches.

• The Slavia sedan reported 1,083 units in June 2026, up from 896 units in June 2025. This translated into a 21% YoY growth. Sequentially, the sedan saw a sharper 26% MoM growth from 861 units in May 2026.

• The Kushaq registered 992 units in June 2026, compared to 792 units in June 2025, marking a 25% YoY growth. However, on a month-on-month basis, dispatches declined 24% from 1,310 units in May 2026.

• The Kodiaq recorded 106 units in June 2026, down from 130 units in June 2025, reflecting an 18% YoY decline. Month-on-month dispatches also fell 27% from 146 units in May 2026.

• The Superb and Octavia did not record any dispatches in June 2026. These models continue to have limited or no contribution to Skoda’s current monthly sales mix.

Skoda India ended June 2026 on a positive note with 6,220 units dispatched, growing 24% YoY and 8% MoM. The brand’s performance was largely powered by the Kylaq, while the Slavia also delivered encouraging growth.

Looking ahead, Skoda’s ability to sustain momentum will depend heavily on the Kylaq’s continued acceptance, while the Kushaq and Slavia will remain important supporting pillars in the portfolio.

Skoda India’s June 2026 performance was clearly led by the Kylaq, which has become the brand’s core volume product. With over 4,000 units, the Kylaq contributed the majority of Skoda’s monthly sales and helped the brand post healthy double-digit YoY growth.

The Slavia’s improvement was another positive, especially in a sedan market that has been shrinking over the years. However, the Kushaq’s month-on-month decline shows that Skoda’s SUV mix is now shifting more towards the Kylaq.
