Tata Motors Limited sales in the domestic & international market for May 2021 stood at 26,661 vehicles. In the domestic market, the OEM recorded sales of 24,452 units in May 2021 and was down 38 percent from 39,530 units in April 2021. As the May'20 base was low; the YoY increase was 456 percent.
Domestic Sales Performance:
Tata Motors CV Business volumes fell 32 percent in May 2021 vs April 2021. The impact was majorly on M&HCV and I&LCV Business. While the SCV volumes increased; the Exports volumes were stable too -
Tata was able to retain its third rank in the overall PV manufacturer rankings for May 2021. Tata Motors PV Sales recorded 15,181 units in May 2021 which was a 40 percent decline over April 2021 and a 382 percent increase over May 2020 -
