The Top 25 Selling Cars constituted over 77% of the cars sold in January 2022. It had 10 models from Maruti, 4 from Tata and Hyundai, 3 from Mahindra, 2 from Honda & Kia. In terms of volumes, Maruti Suzuki models contributed to just over 52 percent volumes in the Top 25!
6 out of the Top 10 cars came from Maruti Suzuki's stable. Maruti's Wagon R retained the best-selling car title for January 2022. Tata had 2 models featured in the Top 10 list - Nexon and Punch. Kia & Hyundai had 1 model each in the Top 10 (Seltos & Venue).

Maruti had 10 models in the Top 25. On average; the volumes were 12,006 units per car.
Hyundai with 4 models in the list averaged 8,646 units per model.
Tata had 4 models in the Top 25 (equal to Hyundai!) and averaged 8,391 units per model.
Even with 3 models in the top 25, Mahindra's overall volumes was lower than Kia's and averaged at 4,438 units/model. Kia with 2 models averaged at 9,194 units/model.
