The Top 25 Selling Cars constituted over 77% of the cars sold in November 2021. It had 11 models from Maruti, 4 from Hyundai, 3 from Tata, 4 from Mahindra, 2 from Kia, and 1 from Toyota. In terms of volumes, Maruti Suzuki models contributed to just over 55 percent volumes in the Top 25!
7 out of Top 10 cars came from Maruti Suzuki's stable. Maruti's Wagon R emerged as the best-selling car in India for November 2021. Hyundai, Tata, and Kia have 1 model each in the Top 10 selling cars of November 2021.
OEMwise Count in the Top 25 selling cars -
Maruti had 11 models in the Top 25. On average; the volumes were 9,577 units per car.
Hyundai had 4 models in the Top 25 and averaged 7,022 units per model.
Tata with 3 models in the list averaged 6,980 units per model (Punch has helped increase the average).
Kia had 2 offerings in the Top 25 and averaged 6,789 per model.
With 4 models in the top 25, Mahindra's overall volumes is now higher than that of Kia. However, the per model average was just 4,006 units.

Utility Vehicles dominated with 13 models (9 SUVs & 4 MUVs) in the Top 25 and combined volumes of over 1.03 Lakh units.
Hatchbacks had 9 models in the Top 25 and the sales in the segment is gradually slowing down.
Sedans had only 1 model in the Top 25 and the best-selling sedan was Maruti Dzire.

Maruti Wagon R was the best-selling car for November 2021. It was followed by the siblings Swift, Alto, and Brezza in the Top 5 selling cars. Maruti's Brezza became the Best Selling SUV for November 2021 - It overtook the likes of Creta, Nexon, etc to take the top slot.
Hyundai Creta ranked in the Top 5 and was also the best-selling Hyundai for November 2021. Creta also became the highest-selling Mid SUV for November 2021 outselling the likes of Seltos, Kushaq etc.
Kia Seltos was able to cross the 8.8k mark and was the best-selling Kia for November 2021.
Tata Nexon was the best-selling Tata model for November 2021. Also, Tata Punch moved out of the Top 10 list - However; it was the second best-selling Tata model. Do note that Altroz volumes have dipped post Punch launch. Punch making a dent on Altroz volumes?
