VinFast dispatched 795 vehicles in India during July 2026, marking a sharp 58.8% month-on-month decline from 1,928 units recorded in June 2026. The steep fall was primarily driven by a significant reduction in dispatches of the Limo Green and MPV7, while the VF6 emerged as the strongest performer during the month with 44.1% sequential growth.
The July numbers indicate a notable shift in VinFast’s model mix. While June dispatches were heavily supported by the Limo Green, July saw the VF6 and VF7 account for the bulk of volumes.
VinFast July 2026 Dispatches
Model | July 2026 | June 2026 | MoM Change |
VF6 | 376 | 261 | +44.1% |
VF7 | 318 | 493 | -35.5% |
Limo Green | 65 | 1,037 | -93.7% |
MPV7 | 36 | 137 | -73.7% |
Total | 795 | 1,928 | -58.8% |
VinFast VF6 recorded 376 units in July, up from 261 units in June. This translates into a strong 44.1% MoM increase, making it the only model in VinFast’s July dispatch portfolio to register sequential growth.
The VF6 alone contributed around 47% of VinFast’s total July volumes, emerging as the company’s largest-volume model for the month.
The larger VinFast VF7 recorded 318 units in July 2026, compared with 493 units during June. This represents a 35.5% MoM decline. Despite the sequential drop, the VF7 remained VinFast’s second-largest contributor and accounted for approximately 40% of the company’s July dispatches. Together, the VF6 and VF7 contributed 694 units, representing more than 87% of VinFast’s total July volume.
The biggest change in VinFast’s July numbers came from the Limo Green. Dispatches fell from a sizeable 1,037 units in June to just 65 units in July, translating into a steep 93.7% month-on-month decline.
The Limo Green had accounted for more than half of VinFast’s dispatches during June, making its reduction the primary reason behind the company’s overall 58.8% sequential volume decline in July. Such sharp month-to-month movements can also reflect factors such as fleet-oriented supply schedules, batch dispatches or inventory planning rather than necessarily representing an equivalent movement in underlying customer demand.
The VinFast MPV7 registered 36 units during July, down from 137 units in June.
This translates into a 73.7% MoM decline, making it the second-sharpest fall among VinFast models during the month.

Auto Punditz Take
VinFast’s 58.8% MoM decline in July may appear significant at first glance, but the model-level data provides a more nuanced picture. The decline was overwhelmingly caused by the normalisation of Limo Green volumes following its unusually high 1,037-unit contribution in June. At the same time, the VF6 recorded healthy 44% sequential growth, while the VF7 continued to contribute more than 300 units.
For VinFast, the more important trend to watch over the coming months will therefore be the consistency of VF6 and VF7 dispatches, rather than movements created by large periodic batches of Limo Green or MPV7. If the VF6 can maintain its current momentum while the VF7 stabilises, VinFast could gradually establish a more predictable retail-oriented volume base in India.
