VinFast VF7 Outsells VF6 in Early FY2027: Premium SUV Leads Vietnam Carmaker's India Push

VinFast's India journey is beginning to take shape, and the company's first two months of FY2027 wholesale data reveal a surprising trend. The premium VF7 electric SUV has emerged as the brand's strongest volume contributor, comfortably outselling the smaller VF6 despite its higher positioning and expected price premium.


According to SIAM wholesale data, VinFast dispatched 1,210 units of the VF7 between April and May 2026, compared to 933 units of the VF6, giving the larger SUV a lead of nearly 30%.
