“X – Prologue’ Toyota’s first electric car !

Japanese Auto Major, Toyota, will be unveiling its first electric vehicle “X – Prologue” globally on 17 March 2021. It released teasers of the model.
There is only limited information available on the model.
“X – Prologue” is based on the e-TNGA platform. The platform supports front wheel / rear-wheel and all-wheel drive systems
The model has a crease running along with the nose, creating a step on the front.
It will have subtle curves, making it not look like a block. It will also have a futuristic look with chiseled contours.
The e-TNGA platform, on which the model is made, can handle a variety of battery pack sizes and electric motor outputs. The platform will enable the launch of compact and large-sized crossovers, minivans, and a sedan too. More details are awaited; and will be shared post launch.
The model will be built at Toyota’s EV – only factory in Japan, possibly introducing it in Japan too. Initially, the sales will be limited to Europe.
