Aprilia SXR 175 hp.e is reportedly heading for an India launch in September 2026. The new maxi scooter is expected to get the SR 175's 13.26 PS engine along with upgraded features including a TFT display.

Piaggio India recorded 3,468 units in May 2026, growing 29% YoY and 3% MoM. Vespa remained the brand’s top-selling model with 2,269 units, while Aprilia SR150 posted a massive 2,937% YoY jump.
