India's electric car registrations surged 76.7% YoY to 36,064 units in October 2026. Tata Motors retained its leadership with 40.7% market share, while Mahindra strengthened its second position with 8,542 registrations. MG lost 9.8 percentage points of market share as VinFast and Maruti Suzuki gained ground.
