Hyundai has confirmed a localised mass-market electric SUV based on a dedicated EV platform. Expected to arrive by 2027, it will be developed specifically for Indian customers.

Hyundai has made the Creta Electric more accessible with a new Battery-as-a-Service model. The SUV now starts at ₹10.99 lakh, while battery rental begins from ₹3.90/km. But the real ownership cost will depend on monthly running.
