JSW Group and Volkswagen Group have signed a non-binding MoU for a proposed 51:49 joint venture covering Skoda-Volkswagen’s India passenger vehicle operations. The two sides will now begin exclusive valuation and due-diligence talks, with a binding agreement targeted by the end of 2026.

India's two-wheeler market recorded a strong 21.22% year-on-year growth in June 2026, with 18,28,458 retail registrations, according to FADA data.
