Electric Two-Wheeler Sales Statistics for February 2021

Around 6,059 electric two-wheelers were registered in India for February 2021. And with sales of 2,201 units; Hero Electric commanded a Market Share of 36.3% in Feb'21.

• Hero Electric was clearly the No.1 OEM in terms of Electric Bike/Scooter sales for Feb'21. It was able to garner the highest Market Share and it improved to 36.3% in Feb'21 v/s 27.4% in Feb'20.

• Okinawa Electric ranked second in the list and was able to sell over 1k Electric Two-Wheelers in Feb'21. However; it lost -12.1% Market Share in Feb'21 when compared to Feb'20.

• Ampere Electric, the electric mobility subsidiary of Greaves Cotton stood third in the ranking table and the OEM registered almost 88 electric two-wheelers in Feb'21.

• Hero Motocorp backed Ather Energy was able to grow 69.1% YoY. However; it lost significant Market Share.

• Biggies like Bajaj Chetak & TVS iQube weren’t able to make a big impact yet again due to supply concerns.
