Electric Two-Wheeler Sales Statistics for February 2021

Around 6,059 electric two-wheelers were registered in India for February 2021. And with sales of 2,201 units; Hero Electric commanded a Market Share of 36.3% in Feb'21.
Hero Electric was clearly the No.1 OEM in terms of Electric Bike/Scooter sales for Feb'21. It was able to garner the highest Market Share and it improved to 36.3% in Feb'21 v/s 27.4% in Feb'20.
Okinawa Electric ranked second in the list and was able to sell over 1k Electric Two-Wheelers in Feb'21. However; it lost -12.1% Market Share in Feb'21 when compared to Feb'20.
Ampere Electric, the electric mobility subsidiary of Greaves Cotton stood third in the ranking table and the OEM registered almost 88 electric two-wheelers in Feb'21.
Hero Motocorp backed Ather Energy was able to grow 69.1% YoY. However; it lost significant Market Share.
Biggies like Bajaj Chetak & TVS iQube weren’t able to make a big impact yet again due to supply concerns.
