Honda has launched the 2026 City facelift in India, with prices starting at ₹11.99 lakh ex-showroom. The update is mainly a design + feature upgrade, while the engine options remain largely unchanged.

Area | New Update |
Front Design | Sharper front look with a flatter nose, new grille, connected LED light strip and updated Honda logo |
Grille | New honeycomb-style pattern replacing the older horizontal/mesh look |
Alloy Wheels | New alloy wheel design |
Rear Styling | Redesigned tailgate, revised lower bumper, smoked tail-lamps and vertical reflector units |
Infotainment | Bigger 10.1-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay |
Comfort Features | Ventilated front seats, wireless charger, ambient lighting |
Camera | New 360-degree camera |
Audio | 8-speaker sound system |
Safety | Six airbags continue; Level 2 ADAS, LaneWatch, hill-start assist, traction control and rain-sensing wipers offered |
What Has Not Changed
The side profile is mostly the same, including the sloping roofline, doors and ORVM design. The cabin layout is also largely familiar, but Honda has added new cosmetic and feature upgrades.
Mechanically, there is no major change. The City continues with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and the 1.5-litre strong-hybrid setup. The petrol engine is paired with a 6-speed manual or CVT, while the hybrid gets an e-CVT.
Engine Options
Engine | Output | Gearbox |
1.5L Petrol | Around 119–121 hp / 145 Nm | 6MT / CVT |
1.5L Strong Hybrid | Around 125–126 hp | e-CVT |
The hybrid version continues to be the efficiency-focused option, with claimed mileage around 27 km/l depending on source/variant reporting.
It is a smart refresh focused on making the City look more modern and feel more premium. The biggest additions are the connected LED styling, bigger touchscreen, ventilated seats, 360-degree camera and stronger feature list. The core City strengths — refined petrol engine, hybrid option, spacious cabin and sedan comfort — remain unchanged.
