Auto Punditz Take
Honda’s September growth was heavily concentrated in the Activa. Its 3.52 lakh units provided most of the brand’s incremental volume, while Shine 125 maintained a substantial contribution.
The picture across the remaining portfolio was mixed. CB 350 and H’ness recorded healthy annual gains, but Shine, Dio and SP 160 remained below their year-earlier levels. Electric scooters contributed just 0.25% of Honda’s total volumeand declined sequentially.
Honda’s overall performance was strong, but the figures underline how central Activa and Shine 125 remain to its sales scale.
