At the Auto Expo 2020, we got to see Skoda’s concept of their compact SUV – The Skoda Vision IN Concept. This concept gained enough traction that Skoda decided to launch this product in for the Indian car markets and called it - The ‘Skoda Kushaq’.
Now during the pre-launch phase of a car manufacturers make sure there is enough buzz around town for their latest product. Skoda, one of the subsidiaries under Volkswagen Group had just recently also taken a chance at this by showcasing their design sketches of the forthcoming compact SUV. Now when such sketches are released, they are converted into graphic renderings by enthusiasts who are excited to know more about the vehicle. And we have seen one such rendering of the Skoda Kushaq created by the team over at Indian Autos Blog.
This reveals a clearer and detailed perspective about the upcoming product which cannot be seen in just the sketches themselves. Through the rendering, we notice that there is very little difference between the Concept Vision IN and the Kushaq. The Kushaq is the first vehicle by Skoda based on the MQB-A0-IN platform and it will be a competitor of the likes of Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta and the other compact SUVs in the segment. Skoda also revealed that the Kushaq will have a wheelbase of 2,651mm which is considerably more than the Creta or even the Seltos which would mean a much more spacious cabin than its competition.
