Renault India has reported a jump of 278% YoY in domestic wholesales to 12,356 units in March 2021. The automobile manufacturer had sold 3,269 units in the domestic market in March 2020. Also, the MoM increase was 12%.
Triber was the best-selling Renault for March 2021 and the model recorded a 151% YoY increase and 16% MoM increase. The model has proved to be an extremely value-for-money car and is bringing in significant volumes for Renault India.
Kwid was just 1 unit short of Triber and ranked second in Renault's portfolio for Mar'21. The model registered 180% YoY and 5% MoM increase.
Kiger has been extremely popular since launch and surprisingly gaining more dispatches when compared to Nissan's Magnite! Kiger dispatches were 3,839 units in Mar'21 v/s 2,987 units of Magnite. Even in Feb'21; Kiger shipments were higher (source).
Duster is now struggling to add volumes to Renault India and degrew a hefty -25% MoM.
