Renault Kiger was launched on 15th February 2021 and was priced extremely aggressively! Renault dispatched 3,226 units of the Kiger in the first month of the launch itself and placed in the Top 5 selling Compact SUVs of Feb'21. It was ahead of sibling Magnite by 235 units.
Let's look at the Top Selling Compact SUVs for February 2021 -
Maruti Brezza was the best-selling Compact SUV of Feb'21 and outsold the likes of Venue & Sonet to capture the top slot! Brezza dispatches were 11,585 units and the model grew 69% YoY
Hyundai's Venue was a close second with sales of 11,224 units and the model ranked second in the table.
Kia's Sonet ranked third with dispatches of ~8k units and has been going strong since launch.
Tata Nexon has grown a remarkable 104% YoY and the model was just 68 units lower than third-ranked Sonet. Do note that Nexon was also Tata's best seller for Feb'21.
Renault Kiger has jumped into the Top 5 Compact SUVs in the launch month itself. It overtook models like XUV300 & Ecosport in Feb'21 and was also ahead of sibling Magnite.
Rebadged Brezza - Toyota's Urban Cruiser recorded dispatches of 2,549 units.
