The Renault Triber continued to be the company’s highest-selling model in India, recording wholesales of 1,871 units in June 2026. Sales increased by 32% year-on-year from 1,421 units in June 2025. The compact MPV accounted for approximately 46% of Renault India’s total monthly volumes, underlining its importance within the company’s product portfolio. On a month-on-month basis, Triber sales declined marginally by 1% from 1,890 units in May 2026.
The new-generation Renault Duster recorded sales of 1,011 units in June 2026, making it the company’s second-highest-selling model during the month. The SUV contributed nearly 25% of Renault India’s June volumes, giving the company a meaningful presence in the competitive mid-size SUV segment. Compared with May 2026, when Renault dispatched 1,267 units, Duster sales declined by 20%.
Renault sold 689 units of the Kiger in June 2026. The compact SUV’s volumes declined by 9% year-on-year from 755 units sold in June 2025. However, the Kiger registered a modest 5% month-on-month improvement over the 656 units dispatched in May 2026.
The Renault Kwid emerged as the brand’s fastest-growing model on a sequential basis during June 2026. The entry-level hatchback recorded wholesales of 492 units, representing a 64% month-on-month increase over the 300 units sold in May. AutoPunditz Verdict
Renault India delivered an encouraging performance in June 2026, with total wholesales rising 55% year-on-year to 4,063 units.
The Triber retained its position as the company’s volume leader, while the new Duster provided a significant boost to overall sales. The Kwid’s strong monthly recovery also helped offset weakness elsewhere in the portfolio.
The next phase of Renault’s growth will depend on whether the Duster can sustain four-figure monthly volumes and whether the company can revive the Kiger in the crowded compact SUV segment.
With the Duster expanding Renault’s addressable market and the Triber maintaining a stable volume base, the automaker appears better positioned than it was a year ago. However, maintaining consistent monthly momentum will be critical as competition intensifies across India’s passenger vehicle market.
