Bondada Group Unveils T1 Electric Two-Wheeler at ₹59,999; Offers 200 kg Payload and 86 km Claimed Range
Bondada Engineering Limited a Hyderabad-based, publicly listed Indian infrastructure company established in 2012 has officially entered India's electric two-wheeler segment through its subsidiary Atpole Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Thuraga Motors. The companies have previewed their first electric two-wheeler, the T1, designed for personal transportation, delivery operations and small businesses.
The upcoming T1 is positioned as an affordable, utility-focused electric vehicle, with its 200 kg claimed payload capacity among its most notable features.

Designed for Delivery Partners and Small Businesses
Unlike many mainstream electric scooters that emphasise connectivity, performance and comfort, the T1 is being developed around everyday utility.
The vehicle is targeted at individual commuters as well as delivery partners, small traders, fleet operators and institutional customers. Its lightweight construction, basic mechanical equipment and claimed carrying capacity point towards a focus on affordability and work-oriented mobility.
The announced 86 km figure is an idle-range claim rather than a verified real-world riding range. Buyers will need more information about range under load, maximum speed and service support before assessing its suitability for regular commercial use.
Price, Booking and Availability
The T1's announced price is ₹59,999, inclusive of GST, with optional accessories priced separately.
Pre-bookings are open through the newly launched digital platform. The company plans to begin commercial availability in November 2026 across three states: Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. A wider national rollout has not yet been confirmed.

Auto Punditz Take
The T1 represents an interesting entry into India's affordable electric two-wheeler market, particularly because it is aimed at livelihood-linked mobility rather than premium scooter buyers.
Its ₹59,999 price, three-hour charging claim and 200 kg stated payload could appeal to cost-conscious buyers, provided the vehicle delivers acceptable reliability and performance in real-world conditions.
However, the product's success will depend on critical factors that remain to be established: laden range, battery durability, after-sales support, warranty coverage and spare-parts availability. A claimed 200 kg payload is promising, but it should not be treated as proof of load-carrying performance without independent testing.
