Tiago and Tigor's test mules are based on a revised model
The CNG variant from Tiago & Tigor is expected to arrive this year
Both cars are powered by a Revotron 1.2 liter petrol engine
We are very aware that Tata Motors is currently preparing its Tiago and Tigor CNG models for the Indian market. The local carmaker is currently hoping to expand its Tiago and Tigor lineup to include a CNG-controlled variant. Both models were previously spotted with pencil cases at an LNG filling station near Lonavala. We rediscovered the CNG variation when we were conducting road tests at the Gata site near Lonavala, Maharashtra. The Indian automaker is likely to deliver this model in the not-too-distant future.
Test mules can appear completely undercover and hide important details from being sent off. Both models will likely be based on the updated Tiago and Tigor models. We do not expect any measurements or changes in a vehicle configuration. As can be seen from the previous spy photo, the Tata Tiago CNG appears to be a mid-trim variation in every way, including the multi-layer composite wheels, while the Tigor looks like a minor variation with steel edging.
The Tiago and Tigor's updated BS6 prints get the object with three screws on the grille, projector light, LED daytime running light, fog light, radio cable for shark balancing, LED brake light for the high mount, LED taillight, and this is just the beginning. We won't be looking at the box vehicle in these photos. Even so, we hope that the interior remains as pure as the existing model.
The Indian carmaker sent upgraded models to Tiago and Tigor a year ago in January. The delightful BS6 model was introduced with a single 1.2-liter oil mill, while the simpler 1.05-liter Revotorq diesel engine was discontinued.
The upcoming Tiago CNG is expected to get a similar Revotron 1.2 liter oil engine. The oil mill has an output of 85 hp. the most extreme force against the peak force of 113 Nm. A similar engine is also expected to power the Tigor CNG. The two engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or a mechanical 5-speed manual transmission (AMT). When Tiago CNG is dispatched, it will have a similar battle with Maruti Suzuki WagonR CNG, Hyundai Santro CNG, and others. Tigor CNG will take over the Hyundai Aura CNG
