The Kawasaki Ninja[ Complete spec details]

Ninja brand of motorcycles from Kawasaki is one of the most loved and admired bikes for its speed and its styling.

The updated version of Ninja 300 has finally started reaching stores across the country.

Its launch price is Rs 3.18 lakh which is Rs 20,000 more than the previous BS4 model. On-road Mumbai price is Rs 3.68 lakh.

Overall Design

The new updated Ninja 300 is subtle with limited variations. Most design elements of BS6 and BS4 have been carried forward in the new Ninja 300.

A twin-pod headlight cluster, a muscular fuel tank, split-style seats, aggressive split headlamps, a chrome heat shield on the muffler, upswept exhaust, and front blinkers on the fairing are the new inclusions.

The large variation holes on the Ninja 300 are inspired by the brand’s flagship ZX-14R. It is now available in three new colors – Lime Green, Candy Lime, and Ebony.

Mechanical Specifications

Mechanically, the new Ninja 300 is more or less identical to its predecessor. It has been built on a tube diamond steel frame suspended on 37 mm telescopic forks at the front and a preload-adjustable mono-shock at the rear. Stopping occurs by 290 mm and 220mm petal disc brakes at front and rear with power delivered by dual-piston calipers on both sides. Talking about its powertrain, it draws its power from a BS6 compliant 296cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that can push out 38.4 bhp of power at 11,000 rpm and 27Nm of peak torque at 10,000 rpm.
