The SUV major Mahindra launched its new S3+ variant of the 2021 Scorpio this month.
The product comes at a price tag of Rs. 11.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). This price tag makes it the most affordable amongst the Scorpio variants.
What does the new Scorpio S3+ offer?
The engine is a 2.2-liter mHawk 4-cylinder diesel engine that is detuned for producing max power of 120 BHP and 280 Nm of torque. It also has the micro-hybrid tech and has a 5-speed gearbox.
Safety equipment includes dual front airbags, ABS, panic brake indication, seat belt reminder, and speed alert.
Well, for starters, the bumpers and the side cladding are not painted. The same approach has been taken for the door handles and ORVMs and the footstep too has been omitted. This saves some money for Mahindra; and the customer.
There is no bottle or cup holder and even auto door lock feature.
The car however has features including a bonnet scoop, follow-me-home headlights, LED tail lamps, and rides on silver-colored steel rims.
The seats are vinyl wrapped.
The steering comes with tilt adjustment. The variant, which is there in 7- and 9-seat options, does come with features of power windows and a dual-tone dashboard.
All in all, a Value for Money and the most affordable, amongst Scorpio variants, is the Mahindra Scorpio S3+ proposition.
