7 out of Top 10 cars came from Maruti Suzuki’s stable! Also, 3 Hyundai models fared in the list.

Maruti's Swift emerged as India's Best Selling Car for February 2021. The model outsold the likes of Baleno & Alto to capture the Top Slot. The 2021 Swift was launched in Feb'21 itself and would have helped the model gain more dispatches.
Maruti Nexa Baleno ranked second on the list with dispatches of 20,070 units. It was a mere 194 units short of Swift. Baleno + Glanza would have easily surpassed Swift volumes!
Maruti's Wagon-R came in third in the ranking table with 18,728 units dispatches. The model had a flat growth v/s last year but still surpassed Alto's sales figures for Feb'21.
Alto slipped from the Numero Uno position in Jan'21 to the fourth rank in Feb'21. It registered the highest YoY fall in the Top 10 cars and signifies a decline in popularity of entry-level hatches.
Hyundai's Creta managed to sneak in the Top 5 and also became the best-selling SUV for February 2021!
Dzire's rise in volumes is a bit surprising. The model which was struggling without a diesel option grew 63% YoY and placed itself in the sixth rank.
Eeco has been a consistent model in the Top 10 list and again fares in the seventh spot in the ranking table.
Vitara Brezza was ahead of Hyundai's Venue by just 361 units and became the highest-selling Sub-4m Compact SUV of February 2021.
Hyundai's Venue ranked 9th with dispatches of 11,224 units and 9% YoY growth.
Hyundai Grand i10 was the second model to record a YoY decline in the Top 10 cars.
