Top 25 Selling Cars in India for August 2025

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga emerged as India's best-selling car for August 2025. The MUV toppled the erstwhile best-seller Dzire with a considerable margin. Coincidentally, both Ertiga and Dzire have a very strong presence in the Taxi segment with the CNG avatar. The models have been faring consistently in the Top sellers for quite some time and highlighting the stable Taxi volumes.
Hyundai's Creta remained the best-selling SUV and was India's third best-selling car of Aug'25. Wagon-R continued to be the king of hatchbacks and ranked fourth in the list. Tata Nexon ranked fifth with over 14k dispatches in Aug 2025.
