Top 25 Selling Cars in India for June 2025

Hyundai Creta regained its spot as India's highest-selling car in June 2025 from Maruti Dzire. Hyundai sold 15,786 units of the Creta in June 2025, which was just 302 units ahead of Maruti's Dzire. Creta's best-seller milestone also coincides with its 10th anniversary in the Indian market. Hyundai launched the first-generation Creta in 2015, and dispatches began in June 2015. Notably, Creta has been the best seller for March and April this year and has also been the highest-selling Mid SUV in the Indian market every year since 2015!

Talking about the milestone, Mr. Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India Ltd., said, “CRETA is not just a product, it is an emotion for over 1.2 million Indian families. Over the last decade, brand CRETA has consistently redefined the SUV space and remained a strong pillar of Hyundai’s growth in India.”

The best sellers are getting capped at the <20k mark, which wasn't the case earlier. Even the No.1 Seller Creta could record dispatches of just 15,786 units, which is 2,298 units lower than June'24 best seller Tata Punch. This reflects the strain in the system and the depleting demand even for the best-sellers!
