The Toyota Hyryder emerged as the company’s highest-selling model in June 2026 with 9,104 units dispatched. The midsize SUV recorded a healthy 22% YoY growth and was also up 5% MoM over May 2026. Hyryder’s performance highlights Toyota’s strong presence in the midsize SUV segment, where hybrid and CNG options continue to support demand. It contributed nearly 32% of Toyota’s total domestic dispatches during the month.
The Innova + Hycross range stood second with 7,332 units in June 2026. However, it declined 17% YoY compared to 8,802 units in June 2025. The monthly fall was steeper, with dispatches dropping 29% from 10,325 units in May 2026.
The Glanza registered 3,512 units, up 20% YoY and 10% MoM, showing steady demand in the premium hatchback space.
The Rumion was one of Toyota’s strongest performers in percentage terms. Dispatches stood at 2,376 units, rising 68% YoY from 1,415 units in June 2025. On a monthly basis too, the MPV grew 12%, making it one of Toyota’s most consistent gainers in June 2026.
The Fortuner recorded 2,514 units, down 8% YoY and 13% MoM. While it continues to dominate the full-size ladder-frame SUV space, June dispatches were softer compared to both last year and the previous month.
The Vellfire declined 10% YoY to 140 units.
The Land Cruiser 300 fell 41% YoY to just 41 units.
The LC300 also saw a sharp 58% MoM drop from May 2026.
The Taisor reported 2,483 units in June 2026, growing marginally by 3% YoY while remaining almost flat month-on-month with a 1% decline.
The Hilux dispatched 289 units, up 4% YoY, but declined 30% MoM from 414 units in May 2026.
Toyota’s Ebella contributed 459 units in June 2026. Since there was no comparable volume in June 2025 or May 2026, the model added fresh incremental volume to Toyota’s monthly tally.

Auto Punditz Analysis
Toyota’s June 2026 performance was a mixed bag. While the company managed to grow year-on-year, the month-on-month decline indicates moderation after a stronger May.
The brand’s growth was driven primarily by the Hyryder, Glanza and Rumion, while the Innova + Hycross, Fortuner and LC300 dragged the monthly performance down.
With 28,441 units, Toyota remained one of the strongest players in India’s premium mass-market space. The brand’s current portfolio continues to benefit from SUVs, MPVs, hybrid technology and badge-engineered models, giving it a wide spread across multiple high-demand segments.
