India’s 7-seater passenger vehicle segment recorded 86,703 units in August 2026, growing 27.7% YoY. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga retained the top spot with 18,516 units, while Mahindra Scorpio surged 58.3% to 15,576 units.

India’s electric two-wheeler market registered 1,83,802 units in August 2026, marking 67.6% year-on-year growth. TVS remained No.1 with a 26.7% market share, while Bajaj surged 236.3% YoY to strengthen its second position.

India’s strong-hybrid passenger vehicle market recorded 57,885 units in H1 2026, remaining almost unchanged from the previous year. Toyota Innova retained the top position, while the Hyryder grew 23% and the Grand Vitara declined 54%.

Toyota India dispatched 28,441 units in June 2026, growing 8% year-on-year. The Hyryder emerged as the brand’s best-selling model, while Innova + Hycross saw a sharp 29% month-on-month decline.

Piaggio India recorded 3,468 units in May 2026, growing 29% YoY and 3% MoM. Vespa remained the brand’s top-selling model with 2,269 units, while Aprilia SR150 posted a massive 2,937% YoY jump.

River Indie posted strong growth in May 2026 with 3,977 units sold. The EV scooter grew 234% YoY and 38% MoM, highlighting rising traction for River’s only model in India’s electric scooter market.

Yamaha Motor India recorded 72,821 units in May 2026, growing 58% year-on-year and 7% month-on-month. Ray led the brand’s sales, followed by FZ, R15 and MT-15.
