Key Highlights
Yamaha’s May 2026 sales were driven by a strong mix of scooters and premium motorcycles. The Ray was the clear volume leader, while the FZ remained the top motorcycle. The R15 and MT-15 posted strong growth, reinforcing Yamaha’s position in the premium 150cc motorcycle segment.
The brand’s overall performance was impressive, with 58% YoY growth and 7% MoM growth. However, the sequential decline in models like Fascino, FZ and XSR shows that demand was not uniform across the portfolio.
Overall, May 2026 was a strong month for Yamaha, with healthy growth across key models and continued traction in both scooter and enthusiast motorcycle categories.
