Ultraviolette F77 MACH 2 Clocks 1.46 Lakh km in 2 Years, Sets New Electric Motorcycle Endurance Benchmark

Ultraviolette’s F77 MACH 2 has achieved a major real-world endurance milestone, with customer Harish Surampade clocking 1,46,000 km in just two years on the electric motorcycle. The journey has also earned Harish and the F77 MACH 2 two world records, making it one of the strongest durability showcases for an electric two-wheeler in India.

The record-breaking ride covered all Indian states and reached 13 international borders, proving that EV motorcycles are no longer limited to short city commutes. Harish’s journey included extreme terrain, long-distance touring, and temperatures ranging from -15°C to +48°C, including high-altitude locations such as Khardung La and Umling La.

Two World Records For Ultraviolette F77 MACH 2

Harish Surampade and his Ultraviolette F77 MACH 2 now hold two major records:

First, the F77 MACH 2 became the first electric motorcycle to complete an expedition across six international borders in 19 days, covering over 3,000 km through challenging terrain. The route included Panitanki, Korala, Jaigaon, Nathu La, Batang La Tri Junction and Fulbari. The ride also made the F77 MACH 2 the first EV to receive a permit for Nathu La Pass.

Second, Harish completed the longest distance cross-country expedition on an electric bike, starting and ending in Bengaluru. Over 600 days, he covered 1,20,000 km, crossed all Indian states, touched 13 international borders and conquered some of the world’s highest motorable roads.

Battery Health Still At 95%

The biggest talking point is the motorcycle’s battery durability. Even after running 1,46,000 km, the F77 MACH 2’s battery health reportedly remains at 95%. This is a significant figure because battery life and long-term reliability remain among the biggest concerns for EV buyers, especially in the performance motorcycle segment.

Sustainability Impact

The journey also highlights the environmental and cost benefits of long-term EV usage. According to Ultraviolette, Harish’s ride helped save 5,763 litres of fuel, resulting in estimated cost savings of ₹5,93,617. The motorcycle consumed 6,999 kWh of energy and helped save 9,468 kg of carbon emissions.

Harish Surampade’s 1.46 lakh km journey is more than just a customer milestone. It is a strong proof point for the endurance, battery reliability and touring capability of modern electric motorcycles. For Ultraviolette, this record gives the F77 MACH 2 a unique positioning in India’s EV space — not just as a performance electric motorcycle, but as a machine capable of serious long-distance touring.

The achievement also helps address a key perception challenge for electric two-wheelers: range anxiety and durability under real-world Indian conditions. With extreme weather, high-altitude routes, international borders and more than 1.4 lakh km of usage, the F77 MACH 2 has delivered one of the most comprehensive endurance validations seen in India’s electric motorcycle market.
