Bengaluru registered 13,389 EVs in August 2026, with electric vehicles accounting for 17.5% of all new registrations. The city contributed over half of Karnataka’s monthly EV registrations and now has an EV fleet exceeding 4.9 lakh.

Kia India achieved its highest-ever June sales with 24,552 units dispatched, recording 19% YoY growth. The automaker also posted its strongest first-half performance with 1.64 lakh units sold, led by robust demand for the Seltos, Sonet, Carens Clavis and Clavis EV.
