Ola Electric has launched the new S1Z at an introductory ₹79,999 with its made-in-India LFP Bharat Cell technology. Available with 3.1 kWh and 5.1 kWh batteries, the scooter offers up to 301 km IDC-certified range.

Ola Electric has announced a major strategic shift by opening its sales and service network to dealer partners across India. The move marks the company's biggest departure from its direct-to-consumer model as it battles declining sales, shrinking market share and rising competition from TVS, Bajaj, Ather and Hero.

India's two-wheeler market recorded a strong 21.22% year-on-year growth in June 2026, with 18,28,458 retail registrations, according to FADA data. Hero MotoCorp retained its leadership position ahead of Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, while TVS Motor continued to strengthen its market share. The month also saw robust growth from Royal Enfield, Yamaha and Ather Energy, highlighting sustained demand across both ICE and electric two-wheelers.
