Avore Electric EX Launched at ₹1.25 Lakh; Claims Up to 260 km Range and 114 km/h Top Speed

Avore Electric has launched its first electric motorcycle, the EX, in India at a starting price of ₹1,24,999, ex-showroom. Offered in three variants—EX 2S, EX 2 and EX 1—the new electric motorcycle claims an IDC-certified range of up to 260 km and a top speed of up to 114 km/h.
Ahmedabad-based Avore Electric, the electric mobility arm of Samarth E-Mobility, has entered India’s electric motorcycle market with the launch of the Avore EX. The motorcycle was unveiled in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
Bookings for the Avore EX are now open at ₹799, while customer deliveries are expected to begin in approximately two months. The company plans to start displaying the motorcycle at dealerships across key Indian cities from August 2026.

Avore Electric EX price and variants
The Avore EX range comprises three variants:

Prices for the EX range start at ₹1,24,999, ex-showroom. However, Avore Electric has not yet disclosed the complete variant-wise price list.
All three variants are claimed to produce 250 Nm of peak torque at the wheel. The company says the motorcycle has been developed to offer usable performance for city commuting as well as occasional highway riding.
Up to 260 km claimed range
Range is one of the biggest highlights of the Avore Electric EX. The top-spec EX 2S claims an IDC-certified range of 260 km, while the EX 2 offers a marginally lower claimed range of 255 km.
The more affordable EX 1 is claimed to travel up to 160 km on a full charge.
As these figures are based on the Indian Driving Cycle, real-world range is likely to vary depending on speed, riding mode, traffic, load, terrain, weather and use of connected features.
Charging time and onboard charger
Avore Electric has equipped all three EX variants with a 1,500-watt onboard charger. Owners can plug the motorcycle directly into a conventional 5A or 15A household socket, without requiring a dedicated wall-mounted charging unit.
The company claims:
20 to 80 per cent charging in around two hours
0 to 100 per cent charging in approximately four hours
The battery pack has reportedly been homologated by NATRAX, while the Battery Management System has been validated by ICAT.
Integrated motor and swingarm powertrain
One of the EX’s most distinctive engineering features is what Avore Electric calls the Drive Link Arm.
The system integrates the electric motor with the motorcycle’s swingarm. According to the company, this architecture improves weight distribution, structural rigidity, stability and handling.
Avore describes the arrangement as an industry-first Integrated Motor and Swingarm Powertrain. Its real-world benefits, however, will become clearer once independent road tests and long-term ownership reviews are available.
The motorcycle uses a rare-earth-free Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor. The company says this supports its objective of reducing dependence on imported components and building a more resilient domestic supply chain.
Manual and automatic riding modes
Unlike many electric two-wheelers that use a conventional twist-and-go layout, the Avore EX offers both automatic and manual-style riding options.
The motorcycle features:
Apex: The highest-performance riding mode.
Syft: A manual gear-style mode that allows the rider to control power delivery more actively.
ARS: A rider-input system designed to make interaction with the motorcycle more intuitive.
The manual mode appears intended to offer a more familiar and engaging experience to customers moving from an internal-combustion motorcycle to an electric model.
Connected and AI-powered features
Avore Electric has positioned the EX as a software-led motorcycle rather than merely an electric vehicle with connected features.

The EX 1 will be offered in corresponding single-tone versions of Starlit Blue, Meteor Red and Stellar Black.
Battery warranty and testing
Avore Electric is offering a five-year or 60,000 km warranty on the EX battery.
The company claims to have completed more than 1,00,000 km of road testing and over 2,500 hours of dynamometer validation. The motorcycle platform is also claimed to comply with AIS 156 and AIS 038 safety requirements.
While these are encouraging claims, customers should examine the final warranty terms, exclusions, service coverage and battery-replacement conditions before booking.
Developed on an indigenous technology platform
The EX is based on Avore Electric’s proprietary AVORE Source technology stack and the dedicated AVR electric motorcycle platform.

Avore Electric says it has filed more than 120 intellectual-property applications during the motorcycle’s three-year development programme.
The company operates a 1,50,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Chhatral, Gujarat, with a claimed production capacity of 15,000 electric two-wheelers per month.
Can the Avore EX compete in India’s electric motorcycle market?
At ₹1.25 lakh, the Avore EX enters a growing but still relatively undeveloped electric motorcycle segment. Its claimed range, highway-capable top speed, household charging support and conventional motorcycle ergonomics give it a strong specification sheet.
The top-spec model’s claimed 260 km IDC range is particularly notable at this price point. The presence of a 1.5 kW onboard charger and an approximately four-hour full-charging claim could also make the motorcycle easier to live with than EVs dependent on proprietary charging equipment.
However, Avore Electric is a new consumer brand. Its success will therefore depend on factors beyond the product specification, including dealership reach, after-sales support, spare-parts availability, real-world range, software reliability and long-term battery performance.
