Bajaj Auto Dispatches Rise 12% YoY in June 2026; Chetak Leads as Pulsar 125 Slumps

Bajaj Auto recorded total domestic dispatches of 1,66,956 units in June 2026, marking a healthy 12% year-on-year growth compared with 1,49,317 units dispatched in June 2025. However, volumes declined sharply on a sequential basis, falling 20% from 2,09,528 units in May 2026.

The company’s June performance was driven primarily by the strong growth of the Bajaj Chetak electric scooter, the Pulsar 160–200cc range and the Pulsar 220. At the same time, weak dispatches of the Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 restricted overall growth.

Auto Punditz Insight

Bajaj Auto’s 12% annual growth in June 2026 reflects strong momentum in electric scooters and select premium and sporty motorcycle categories. Chetak’s rise to the top of the company’s model-wise dispatch chart is particularly significant, with the electric scooter now contributing nearly one-fourth of Bajaj’s total volumes.

However, the 20% sequential decline highlights considerable month-to-month volatility. The sharp drop in Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 dispatches outweighed gains from Chetak, Freedom and the premium KTM and Triumph portfolio.

Bajaj Auto’s performance in the coming months will therefore depend on whether the company can sustain Chetak’s momentum while stabilising volumes across its core commuter and entry-level Pulsar motorcycles.
