Hero MotoCorp Sales August 2026: Splendor Leads as Volumes Rise 4.5% to 5.42 Lakh
Based on the supplied model-wise data, Hero MotoCorp’s listed portfolio, including Vida and Harley-Davidson models, recorded 5,42,305 units in August 2026. Volumes increased 4.5% year-on-year from 5,19,139 units and 8.2% month-on-month from 5,01,403 units in July 2026.
Splendor remained the biggest contributor, while Vida and Destini 125 delivered strong growth. However, declines across several commuter motorcycles kept overall growth modest.

Splendor recorded 3,35,589 units, adding 41,343 units over August 2025. It accounted for 61.9% of the supplied portfolio’s total volumes. Its year-on-year increase exceeded the overall portfolio’s net gain of 23,166 units.
HF Deluxe remained second at 69,794 units. Although volumes recovered 25% over July, they were still 22% below August last year.
Destini 125 reached 29,737 units, growing 53% year-on-year and 55% month-on-month. It was the third-largest model entry in the supplied data.
Vida more than doubled to 25,558 units, up 108% year-on-year. Sequential growth of 13% also placed it ahead of the portfolio’s overall monthly growth rate.
Xoom grew 65% year-on-year to 9,094 units, although it slipped 3% over July. Xoom 160 reached 2,259 units; its 2,051% annual increase reflects a low base of just 105 units.
Pleasure declining 50% year-on-year and 35% month-on-month to 5,502 units.
Passion fell 38% year-on-year to 15,254 units, while Glamour declined 50% to 11,188 units. Both also registered sequential declines.
Super Splendor recorded relatively stable growth, rising 5% year-on-year to 18,253 units. Xtreme 125R recovered 35% over July to 13,131 units, but remained 13% below its year-earlier level.
XPulse 200 entry grew 45% year-on-year to 4,980 units. HD X440 declined 19% to 1,223 units, while Xtreme 250 rose 19% to 385 units.

August’s growth rested primarily on Splendor, supported by a rising scooter contribution from Destini 125 and Vida. The monthly recovery was encouraging, but annual declines in HF Deluxe, Passion and Glamour show that growth was not yet broad-based.
The key trend to track is whether scooters can sustain their increasing contribution while the commuter motorcycle portfolio delivers a more consistent recovery.
