Hyundai Motor India recorded cumulative sales of 59,203 units in the month of April 2021 and the overall volumes declined 8.4 percent when compared to March 2021. While the domestic sales dipped 6.8 percent Month-on-Month; Exports declined over 15 percent in April 2021.
The Korean carmaker which was gearing up for the global unveiling of its three-row SUV, Alcazar in May 2021 has postponed its plan due to the ongoing Covid19 scenario. Alcazar was basically to be based on the mid-size SUV, Creta, with bigger dimensions and third-row seating.
Commenting on the April 2021 sales, Mr. Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service), Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, "As a responsible and caring brand, Hyundai has always been trying its best to give back to society in whichever way possible.
